Please join us for a powerful day of connection and learning at MaineHealth’s annual Substance Use Disorder (SUD) conference on the theme Meeting People Where They Are: Compassion, Connection and Support in SUD Care.
This impactful event brings together medical professionals, behavioral health clinicians, advocates, and individuals with lived experience to exchange knowledge, share strategies, and advance the prevention, treatment, and recovery of substance use disorders.
Highlights include a keynote address by Avik Chatterjee, MD, MPH; engaging breakout sessions that offer the latest insights in the field; and an afternoon screening of the film "Recovery City." This powerful documentary explores the meaning of recovery through the personal journeys of four women; all of whom have experienced substance use disorder. Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion featuring the women from the film, along with members of the creative team who brought their stories to life.
