15^th Annual MITE Faculty Development Teaching Excellence Conference

We welcome all faculty and health professions educators across the MaineHealth system and affiliates.

MITE’s annual conference brings together faculty members, health professions educators, scholars, and academic leaders from across the region to connect, collaborate, and learn from one another. The program features a diverse range of presentations and interactive sessions on topics including precision education, cognitive science in everyday academic medicine, the responsible use of AI in healthcare, teaching across multiple learner levels, and effective strategies for learner assessment and feedback. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with emerging research during a poster session and explore additional timely topics shaping the field. 

Participants may choose to attend in person at Maine Medical Center - Portland or join virtually via Zoom.

Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided.
